Kentucky Kingdom Slashes Gate Prices

Well, I said that we'd probably see more parks cutting admissions prices this summer, and so here's another one already. Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom has slimmed down their gate price - but you have to buy the tickets online before you go to get the lower price. The discount makes the admission just $24.99, which is really a pretty cheap ticket for a park these days.

The IndyStar has an article about the changes in which a park spokesperson says that the closed section of the park was done so that they can explore future rides for that area. That sounds like general b.s. to me, but what do I know.
